The Zoom integration allows CompliantChatGPT to turn your Zoom meetings into secure, searchable, and interactive transcripts. This makes it easier to review discussions, track decisions, and find key information without taking notes during your calls.

A Zoom Pro account is required to enable cloud recordings and transcription.

• Your organization needs a BAA with CompliantChatGPT.

• You also need a separate BAA with Zoom.

All meeting data is handled securely. Compliant analyzes full transcripts, not just the questions you type, using the same safeguards applied across the platform.

How to Set Up the Integration

Below is the complete step-by-step setup process.

Step 1: Connect Your Zoom Account

1. Go to Settings on your compliantChatGPT account and select the Integrations section.

2. Under Zoom, click Connect.

3. Sign in to your Zoom account.

4. Approve the permissions requested by Zoom to allow secure transcript access.

5. Once approved, Compliant will display a confirmation message.

Your accounts are now linked.

Step 2: During the Zoom Meeting

To make sure your meeting can be analyzed, both cloud recording and transcription must be enabled. Before you begin:

• Make sure Cloud Recording is turned on in your Zoom settings.

• Make sure Audio Transcription is enabled in Zoom.

During the meeting:

1. Start your meeting in Zoom.

2. Click Start Cloud Recording. (Local recordings will not work with this integration.)

3. When you finish, click End in Zoom.

Zoom will now begin generating the transcript.

Step 3: After the Meeting

Once the meeting ends, Zoom processes the transcript. Timing depends on meeting length but it usually takes 5 to 60 minutes.

After the transcript is ready:

1. CompliantChatGPT automatically retrieves it.

2. Compliant analyzes the full meeting, including discussions, decisions, and action items.

3. You’ll get an email notification when the analysis is complete.

4. In CompliantChatGPT, open your Chat History. The meeting will show up as a new conversation, ready for you to explore, summarize, and analyze.

How to disconnect Zoom

If you wish to remove the integration:

1. Go to Settings within the platform → Integrations.

2. Find Zoom and click Disconnect.

3. Confirm the disconnection.
   
   
   

This stops future meetings from being analyzed.  Already-processed meetings stay in your chat history until you delete them or your organization’s retention policy removes them.
