Turn your Zoom meetings into secure, searchable, and interactive data within Compliant. This integration requires a Zoom Pro account to enable transcription and access. Access key decisions, action items, and full transcripts instantly, eliminating manual note-taking.
Security & BAA
To ensure full HIPAA compliance, a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is required with Compliant. Your organization must also have a separate BAA with Zoom, as the agreement with Compliant applies exclusively to our services.
Step 01: Steps to Connect Your Account
Initiate Connection: Navigate to the Settings section in your Compliant account and select "Integrations."
Authorize: You will be redirected to the Zoom site. Log in and review the requested permissions.
Confirm: Click "Allow" to allow Compliant to access your meeting recordings. You will receive a success notification in Compliant.
Step 02: During the Zoom Session
For Compliant to analyze a meeting, both cloud recording and transcription must be enabled.
Verify Settings: Before starting, confirm that Cloud Recording and Audio Transcription are enabled in your Zoom account settings.
Start Meeting: Begin your Zoom meeting as usual.
Activate Recording: Once inside, ensure you start Cloud Recording (not local recording).
End Session: When the discussion is over, click End on the Zoom toolbar.
Step 03: Analysis and Conversation Access
After the meeting ends, Compliant begins the automatic processing.
Zoom Processing: Zoom will take time to process the recording and generate the transcript (this can vary from 5 to 60 minutes, depending on the duration).
Compliant Analysis: Once Zoom finishes, Compliant downloads the transcript, and the analysis begins automatically.
Notification: You will receive an email from Compliant when the analysis is ready.
Access: Go to your chat history in Compliant. Your meeting will appear as a new conversation, ready for you to interact, request summaries, and extract key information.
Disconnecting the Integration
Go to Settings: In your Compliant account, navigate to "Settings" and then to the "Integrations" section.
Disconnect: Click the Disconnect button next to the Zoom integration. The action must be confirmed.
Important: Disconnecting prevents future analysis; conversations already generated in Compliant will remain until you delete them or the Retention Policy is applied.
